The range of Premaberg air intake filtration and separation systems can only be described here in general terms. Premaberg takes pride in its ability to provide equipment to meet specific and special customer requirements and to use its design engineering skills to adapt core products to meet those needs.

Premaberg welcomes the opportunity to discuss customers specific engineering requirements and to provide solutions to meet those needs for the installation. Our engineers are available for technical discussions and site visits and we have local representatives in many overseas countries.

There are many variations to the basic solution which can be provided and may include:

  • Effective design of drainage systems
  • Anti-icing systems, including heat tracing
  • Instrumentation for condition monitoring
  • Drill templates to assist ease of installation
  • Special housings, snow hoods, transition pieces and ducting
  • Specially shaped separators to match superstructure cut-outs
  • Design for shock and vibration requirements

DESIGN

Flow pattern from fluent CFD analysis All new Premaberg products are designed using an in-house Solid Works 3D CAD system, enabling the provision of full 3D models when required for integration into customer drawing packages.

We have the capability for fluid flow analysis using Fluent CFD software. Special calculations covering shock, vibration and wind loading etc can be provided when specified.

SPARE PARTS

Premaberg Manufacturing Limited offers a full service to provide replacement filters and coalescers for its marine and offshore air intake systems. This includes the supply of filter/coalescer panels and extended surface filter/coalescers (bags). All items are available to special order from our plant at Halstead in Essex with prompt deliveries to meet customers’ operating needs.

Premaberg has its own fabrication and assembly facilities at Halstead, North Essex, where separators are manufactured normally in aluminium alloys and stainless steel. We have modern sheet metal working machinery and a team of skilled operators who take pride in the quality of the products they produce.
